EcoGarden Manager

Work Schedule: Hours can be flexible. Must be able to work some Saturdays

Program Requirements:

  • Must have completed at least 30 credit hours by the internship start date
  • Must be in good academic standing
  • Must be a declared major in the College of Science or a recent graduate

Position Description:

Research, design and implement community volunteer events at TreeUtah’s EcoGarden, a permaculture orchard next to the Day-Riverside Library in Rose Park. Previous events include garden maintenance, harvest parties, plantings, mason bee workshops, and tree pruning workshops. TreeUtah staff will offer support, office space, tools, supplies, and event promotion to EcoGarden Manager, but the EM will have independence and autonomy in developing and maintaining the EcoGarden.
