Hours/Week: 10-20 hours/week Work Schedule: Hours must be completed between 8:00 am-6:00 pm M-F. Work Location: 4431 S 2700 W, Taylorsville, UT 84129

- Must have completed at least 30 credit hours by the internship start date
- Must be in good academic standing
- Must be a declared major in the College of Science or a recent graduate
Additional Requirements for This Position:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Intern positions will be responsible for assisting in the testing of environmental samples for various contaminants. Responsibilities may include sample preparation using EPA or Standard Methods preparation/extraction procedures and sample analysis using HPLC, IC, ICP, FIA, pH, conductivity, turbidity, and/or gravimetric instrumentation. Incumbents may also review and prepare reports and assist with data analysis. Successful internship candidates will comply with the laboratory quality assurance program and all laboratory safety practices.
This internship is part of the Facilitated Internship Program.
