Human/Wildlife Coexistence
Ecology, Statistics
In this stream, we will wander into the wilds of the Wasatch Mountains and the green spaces of Salt Lake City, investigating questions to how humans affect the behavior and distribution of some of the most iconic wildlife in the country, leading to scientific breakthroughs that can directly influence conservation and adaptive management strategies. Students in this stream will learn how about wildlife ecology and conservation, as well as how to conduct ecological fieldwork, design complex studies of animal behavior and human-wildlife coexistence, curate and format large scale-datasets, and conduct advanced statistical analysis.
