Crimson Laureate SocietyCrimson Laureate Society

The Crimson Laureate Society is a new group dedicated to promoting and advancing science and mathematics at the University of Utah.  Members advocate for science in the community, make their voices heard, and have access to exclusive benefits and recognition opportunities.

If you are passionate about mathematics, you know that math drives new advances in fields from finance to social networks to personalized medicine. the Crimson Laureate Society is a unique opportunity to share this passion with like-minded individuals and show your dedication to upholding the value that mathematics provides throughout our community.

Your gift of $100 or more to the Department of Mathematics will grant you full membership in the Crimson Laureate Society this year, while your contribution will serve to fortify the future of mathematics education and research at the University of Utah.

Join today by donating to one of the Mathematics’ key funding areas:

Donald H. Tucker Postdoctoral Fellowships (SC25116-40165)

Named for the Department’s longest-serving faculty member, this endowment provides research funds for outstanding postdoctoral fellows.

Mathematics Undergraduate Scholarships (SC11345-40165)

Scholarships to give promising mathematics students access to opportunities that they might otherwise not be able to pursue.

High School Outreach Programs (SC11945-4016)

By engaging students—and their teachers—at the high school level, we spark fascination in the power and magic of mathematics.

Mathematics Gift Account (SC03343-40166)

Gifts made to the Department will support the area of greatest need in research and education.

And, if your passion is not listed here, the Ugive has many more ways to support the Department of Mathematics’ most important initiatives and programs.
