STEM Safety Day brings faculty, staff and experts together from throughout campus to offer trainings and updates on laboratory, clinical, classroom and workplace safety.

We are excited to share that STEM Safety Day 2026 will take place on Friday, Oct. 2nd, 2026 in the Cleone Peterson Eccles Alumni House on campus.

This free, collaborative event, co-hosted by the College of Science, Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine, John and Marcia Price College of Engineering, College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, College of Pharmacy, University Facilities, College of Health and Environmental Health and Safety offers seminars, trainings, and other sessions designed to help our community better understand and mitigate the health and safety hazards associated with working in STEM fields at the U. Whether you spend most of your time in a lab, a patient-facing setting, or an office, you will find relevant sessions to improve safety in your area of work.

This event is broken up into different 1-2 hr sessions throughout the day to allow participants to attend as their schedules permit. Lunch and breakfast will be served.
