The College of Science and the College of Mines and Earth Sciences at the University of Utah are pleased to announce the 26th Annual Science Day at the U being held on Saturday, November 15, 2014. High school students (grades 10-12) from around the intermountain west are invited to attend a day of science-related workshops. These interactive workshops give high school students a great look at laboratory research and career opportunities in science, math and engineering.


Registration for Science Day is closed. Thank you for signing up! If you were unable to register and wish to attend, you may come to the Union no earlier than 9 a.m. on Saturday to request a stand by seat.

University Admission 101: Preparing Your Student

During the closing activities one $3,000 scholarship and three $1,000 scholarship prizes will be awarded! To be considered for this special prize you must: 1) attend Science Day at the U; 2) complete the drawing form provided in your packet of materials; 3) attend the closing ceremony. The scholarship is for study at the University of Utah. Other prizes will also be given away.
