Recognizing that researchers, students and staff do their best work in a safe and healthy environment.

 

We are committed to the safety of our faculty, students and staff. The College of Science provides the resources necessary to identify and mitigate or eliminate hazardous situations, assess and plan for the risks associated with scientific research, and continue to improve our facilities for everyone who studies, explores, researches or works here.

Policy Changes for Minors Participating on Campus
.  The policy surrounding minors participating in university programs was recently updated.  Highlights of the changes can be found here along with links to the full policy and scope changes.

The 2025 STEM Safety Day which was held on September 5, 2025 was a big success. Thanks to all of you who made that happen - both presenters and participants who came to the sessions.  And special thanks to our corporate sponsors:  Fisher Scientific, PEPSI, CINTAS, and Airgas!
