The College of Science is committed to science education and training, both as major disciplines of study and as a crucial part of a liberal education.
The college provides tailored major and minor programs as part of a baccalaureate degree for those who wish to pursue careers as professional scientists, as well as for those who wish to pursue professional schools (medicine, law, business), careers in industry, or other technical endeavors for which a science background is important.
The college also presents more general courses of instruction for students not specializing in science but who plan careers that require some science background or for those studying science as part of a broad and rounded education.
Congratulations to Cameron Owen! A recent graduate of the College of Science in the Department of Chemsitry, Cameron was awarded the 2019 Research Scholar Award.
